Is that, though, all they're useful for?

PROS OF USING WEBHOSTINGPAD
WebHostingPad has a few things going for it besides a low price.
Let’s have a closer look.
1. OK Page Loading Time
One of the main jobs of a web host is to make sure your website is delivered in a timely manner to visitors or potential customers.
Site speed can also affect search engine rankings and even conversions.
We would like to see the hosts performing load times below 850 ms. Everything that is above that, is a no-go for us.
WebHostingPad has delivered during the past 6 months an average speed of 795 ms which is a very mediocre result.

2. Decent Customer Support
WebHostingPad provides live chat, phone support, ticketing, and a comprehensive knowledge library with hundreds of articles.
We used their live chat help option, and a customer service representative responded almost promptly.
The customer rep was helpful and answered all our questions quickly while also being knowledgeable.
3. Unbelievably Cheap
WebHostingPad does have one great thing going and it’s that they’re cheap.
It's one of the cheapest solutions accessible, with the exception of iPage's not-so-secret, slimmed-down Shared hosting plan.
There's probably a reason it's so inexpensive (which you'll learn about in the 'cons' section below). If pricing is your sole concern, though, look no further.
4. Strong Money-Back Guarantee
If you don't like WebHostingPad's services, you can get your money back within 30 days. The money-back guarantee, however, only applies to hosting purchases.
Renewals, addons, site transfer costs, service charges, or domain name registrations or renewals, even free domain registrations as part of WebHostingPad's FREE DOMAIN coupon offer, are not covered by this guarantee.
5. Free SSL Security
Typically, the most affordable alternatives are also limited in terms of 'extras,' such as security options. Fortunately, WebHostingPad isn't, and their least Power Plan includes a free Let's Encrypt SSL Security Certificate. This ensures that your website is secure to visit.
You'll also get a free advanced spam filter and SSH access if you upgrade to Power Plus.
6. Beginner-Friendly Client Area and Control Panel
The customer area of WebHostingPad is simple and intuitive. You may manage your account information, services, domains, website security, and billing from there. The dashboard can also be used to contact support.
Its user interface is intuitive, and you should have no trouble getting around (especially since there is also a search bar included). You can manage your website's files, databases, and domains with cPanel, as well as pretty much everything else connected to hosting.
Overall, cPanel is an excellent choice for both novice and advanced users.
CONS OF USING WEBHOSTINGPAD
Companies that are cheap are that way for a reason. They're probably not willing (or able) to put that small profit margin back into their products and services.

1. Poor Uptime of 99.90%
A website is only useful to you if it is available to visitors or potential clients.
A web host's principal responsibility is to ensure that this occurs. WebHostingPad has trouble here.
Despite their grandiose boasts of 99.9% uptime on their website, they didn't come close.
Instead, they had a below-average uptime of 99.90 percent during the last six months, with four hours of downtime.

March 2022: 99.98%
February 2022: 99.93%

But at least, there’s an uptime guarantee that will definitely come in handy.
2. Strings-Attached ‘Free’ Domain Registration
WebHostingPad, like other web providers, will give new account signups a free domain name.
There are, however, a few caveats.
To take advantage of this free domain name deal, you must first register with the "FREE DOMAIN" coupon.
Second, any other coupon will render this void.
Third, you'll have to renew your domain name for $16.99 every year. On other websites, you can usually acquire domain names for less than $10 these days.
As a result, this 'extra' future expense is unlikely to pay for itself in a few years.
3. Limited Website Transfers
WebHostingPad, like other web providers, will assist you with transferring an existing site to their services for free.
It is, however, less than 2GB (which is tiny). Email addresses, FTP accounts, subdomains, and addon domains are not included in the maximum size of an account eligible for free transfers. You'd have to replicate those in their control panel instead.
4. Very Restrictive Backup Option
'Free backups' is another perk that some web hosting may provide to new customers.
On the surface, they appear to be a fantastic offer for helping you backstop your website against any faults or challenges.
